LIVESAY is a melodic progressive metal band from New York that was formed in 1991 by lead guitarist Gregg Livesay. The band has two full length independently produced CDs out now, and are currently working on their third. Each CD has seen the band's music progress into new territory, and their third will be no exception. Drawing influence from classic rock guitar heroes, 80's classic metal, melodic rock bands and today's prog bands and fusing them together, Livesay is forging a sound all their own.
